This cottage room is like a hidden gem in the middle of the peaceful Nara park forest. It feels like a secret hideaway where you can escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoy the tranquility.
Personally, I found the room a bit small, but I guess some people might appreciate the cozy atmosphere.

This hotel has an incredible attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. They even let us check-in early and provided us with bicycles to explore the area, which was a fantastic way to get around and see the sights. The room itself was spacious and beautifully decorated, with traditional Tatami matting and a lovely covered balcony overlooking a serene private garden. We were delighted to find that the room had its own toilet and sink, and we also had access to modern, clean and relaxing hot baths. The breakfast provided was plentiful and delicious, a perfect start to the day. this hotel offers great value for money and exceeds expectations in terms of service, amenities, and location near Nara's historic attractions.
Everything was perfect, I couldn't find anything to improve.

We spent our Xmas holiday at a ryokan that offered an unforgettable experience. the food served was not only visually pleasing, but also incredibly savory. the accommodation was spotlessly clean and the staff was helpful. the location was perfect and provided us easy access to many tourist attractions. we appreciated the complimentary shuttle service provided by the hotel.
The air conditioning was aimed directly at the bed, which made the experience less comfortable. It was also a bit awkward sharing the public bath with other guests.

During my stay in this hotel, I was amazed by the great location of the hotel. It was situated near the major tourist attractions of the city, making it easy for me to explore them. The walk around the nearby park was incredibly refreshing. It was beautiful to see all of the deer and take natural pictures with them. The hotel facilities were also worth noting, especially the traditional Japanese soaking tub and shower facilities. The hospitality of the staff was impressive as they paid close attention to details like setting up the heater in the room and providing excellent Japanese breakfast.
Nothing everything was great.

I really loved the traditional Japanese decoration in this hotel. The tatami mats and sliding doors gave the place a cozy and authentic feel. The general areas, like the lobby and dining area, were well-maintained and had beautiful artwork on display. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible, with ramps and handrails in place to assist with mobility.
I would have loved to see more activities or amenities specifically tailored for senior guests.
